They can still plan to lose and head hunt Mike…that’s still a concern. There’s still a group there that won’t want to be the team that gives up 1000 yards for Mike Evans.

I totally bungled the thread (of course lol), but this is why I tried to ask what the Bucs would do in a scenario where playoffs are secured (so up big against the Saints) but where Evans had not reached his record?
Using the argument people have made here about Godwin, Bowles should sit Evans but how would fans feel about that if it denied him the number?
How about if Bowles let him stay on and he blows out a knee on a HIT?
Any time a poster posts, “….and I don’t think it’s close.” The general rule is, the poster is a casual. Nice work.
It’s a chance. Similar discussions this week in Philadelphia. We need to win, and the offense goes through Bucky and Mike - can we win without one/both of them?
I’d guess no… but then again, I’ve been underestimating Tucker all season…
Saints will be looking to play spoiler.
Need to take care of business next weekend.
My first thought as well
saints are the worst scum of the league, wohldn‘t be surprised if they go headhunting on mike. otherwise they are awful team, simmilar to panthers yesterday, should be easy W for is
Their message boards are 50/50.
Headhunting vs. losing so that way their rival Falcons get eliminated.
The smart thing to do is play to win but bench the stars.
I think we have it either way and run it down their throat again but I'm still a little worried
lol we need to play to win the game, all starters in. We didn’t clinch shit yet and saints give us trouble
if we are up 31-0, you can take out baker after he hits 40 tds and mike after he hits 1,000
mikes legacy bigger than our non superbowl run this year

imagine one of them getting hurt in that scenario!

yeah. I hear ya. Maybe baker at 40 not a big deal but Mike needs to get 1,000 to tie Jerry rice.
it’s not like the Bucs didn’t do this before. Remember in 2020, he got hurt last game to get 1,000 yards. They also played him in Detroit with Gabbert tossing the ball around

yepp, that is definitely what I’d expect from saints fans, let’s stop evans, tripple him, kill him, no matter what and lose the game
btw, I do not expect to see kamara and/or carr in their lineup

Lol, why do kids always have to label everything/everyone? Must be some new age BS
Agree we need to win the game. Don't agree about Mikes Legacy being bigger than the playoffs. I don't care what the odds are, the playoffs are what matters, not getting Evans 1000. You never know when you will be back again, especially with this franchise. We need to get Evans and other stars out of the game as soon as possible, either because we are winning by a lot or because the Falcons are losing by a lot. At whatever point it becomes apparent the Bucs are in the playoffs you pull the starters even if there's two minutes to go. I don't forsee the Falcons getting blown out, so it would mainly be up to the Bucs to run up the score as soon as possible against the hapless Saints.lol we need to play to win the game, all starters in. Did you see that game last night? Nothing will come easy for us, expect this game to be a dogfight until atleast the 4th quarter
I’m with Biggsie on this. Play the starters, hammer down.Saints will be looking to play spoiler.

Only when game is well in hand, Mike should have his yards - pull them - but only then.
