One thing we can all agree on. We all hope we can get some good video of the faces of the Falcons when they find out they are eliminated.
I’m with Biggsie on this. Play the starters, hammer down.
Only when game is well in hand, Mike should have his yards - pull them - but only then.
Agreed
I’m with Biggsie on this. Play the starters, hammer down.Saints will be looking to play spoiler.
Need to take care of business next weekend.
My first thought as well
saints are the worst scum of the league, wohldn‘t be surprised if they go headhunting on mike. otherwise they are awful team, simmilar to panthers yesterday, should be easy W for is
Their message boards are 50/50.
Headhunting vs. losing so that way their rival Falcons get eliminated.
The smart thing to do is play to win but bench the stars.
I think we have it either way and run it down their throat again but I'm still a little worried

No I mean from Saints perspective. No reason to play stars. If you can upset with backups so be it but they should be looking to lose this for draft position.

the game certainly becomes less of a guarantee if Carr and Kamara play
and they may just want to do this as their Super Bowl to knock Bucs out of playoffs. They owned the division for years and we have taken it over.
with our propensity to lay an egg when it matters most, id prefer they didnt obviously as we are currently 13 point favorites.
I think we win either way because their defense is ass... They can save face by emptying the bench but my guess is they'll be out for blood on our turf.
It would be great to see the team come out fast early because they have had their struggles with "should win" games
Rumblings that rams will rest starters
with a Seahawks win, Bucs would be third seed (assuming we win)
much rather play the packers or commanders over the Vikings in round one
For sure. Vikings are the last team I want to face right now.
IMHO it doesn‘t matter who we play
this team can beat anybody and can lose to anyone as well. but this is real fun … the years of darkness are slowly forgotten! let‘s hope it continues that way. just imagine how far we could go if we could fix this defense

For me, it’s Detroit. They will want to avenge that asswhippin’ that was laid on them earlier in the year, and it’s hard to beat the same twice in a year anyway.

i respectfully disagree
momentum is important. For example, in our 2020 Super bowl season, we were 7-5, played 4 shit teams in a row to build confidence and get to 11-5. Now in that first round, who would we have rather faced? Losing record Commanders? or the Saints or Packers? We faced the commanders, where i think the game was within a field goal until we pulled away in the 4th. It benefited us to have an easier opponent to get our groove.
Last year, we got a reeling Eagles team who was missing their star WR. Certainly that was a good draw
so this year, yeah, getting the Commanders or Packers over the Lions or Vikings would be huge. Would garner we would go from underdogs against Lions/Vikings to favorites against either of those teams. Getting that third seed is pivotal. We already know we can beat the Eagles, albeit if they have AJ Brown, would make the game much harder and in Philly too. That being said, if we get that third seed, lining up nicely for a little run.
facing the media darling Lions would all but spell some close calls going their way to change the outcome of the game. Lions are the last team i'd want to face for that reason. Call me a conspiracy theorist, just saying all it takes is one call to change the outcome of a game and they have a tough story line to compete with.

you have to win them all, but yes I agree, especially with a young team.
but this is real fun … the years of darkness are slowly forgotten!
amen!
