This is it. If the Bucs lose this game, hope will fade, and players will lose whatever faith they have left, in the coaching staff. There’s been plenty of effort, but you can have all the determination in the world, and it won’t matter without a clear path to success.
BUCS WIN IF…
Bucs on Offense: The path to victory is straightforward. Let Baker Mayfield throw on early downs like we did in the first six games of the season. Get him into a rhythm so he can find his mojo when most needed on third downs.
Stop fixating on a specific play count; take what the defense gives you. If we’re moving the ball and scoring, the run and pass plays will balance out. As I’ve said before: “Throw early, so we can run late.”
Bucs on Defense: It’s simple. If Todd Bowles is running this defense, he excels at one thing: bringing the heat. Yes, offenses have figured it out, but stick to what you know—blitz hard and often. If the Dolphins and their rookie quarterback can beat it, at least Bowles will have done what he does best.
DOLPHINS WIN IF…
Dolphins on Offense: Let Quinn Ewers throw on first down. With our run blitzes early, there will be opportunities for their speedy players to find open spaces. Set him up for success.
Dolphins on Defense: Don’t give the Bucs anything easy. Their offense lacks confidence right now, so don’t be the team that allows them to regain their mojo. Force Baker to throw underneath—he’s not the most patient quarterback—and keep Bucky Irving contained.
FINAL WORD
If the Bucs can’t secure a win against a team looking for a good draft position, then they don’t deserve a spot in the playoffs.
Prediction: Bucs win 26-16
Locker room is lost, no Tristian wirfs and a team that forgot to win
Even though a more talented roster and 6 point favorites, I don’t see them putting it together
Bowles is going to have the Bucs fired up for this game.

Expectations.
2018 The Bucs finished out 3-11 after winning the first two games under Dirk Koetter. Fired. Predicted to win 7 games.
2014 the Bucs went 2-14 under Lovie Smith. Fired. Predicted to win 7 games.
2011 the Bucs lost the last ten games under Raheem Morris to go 4-12. Fired. Predicted to win 8 games.
2025 The Bucs have gone 1-6 in the last seven. Projected to win 9.5 games with many predicting 10-12 wins.
A win total of 8 games wouldn't be that far out of line, but the total collapse of the team over the season given the expectations that were ascribed to this team will rank among the worst Bucs seasons in the last 20 years.
The Bucs have two games to prove that they aren't ranking up...down there with the biggest duds of the last quarter century. This is where we are at now, and the beginning of the year the praise was being heaped on the HC and the GM. It was quite the lovefest, and I just don't think fans have gotten their heads around just how bad the Bucs have been. Lose these lsat two and we're among the worst finishes only exceeded by the 2011 finish.
Bowles may get fired but those comparisons - Koetter, Lovie and Morris - are way off for a few obvious reasons.
I honestly don't give a fuck if we win. I'm over this team and this coach.
Baker clearly isn't healthy

the Bucs has had 4 seasons and has underachieved (most likely here in 2025) in 50% of them. Not a great track record.
Ian Rapoport is reporting that Todd’s job is safe prior to the Dolphin’s game today. I wish this was coming from an unreliable source.
If we don’t go to the playoffs and we have to spend our offseason in the muck of sameness, what in the actual fuck are we doing???

the way to reward that behavior is to not go to the games but the NFL is a powerhouse so hard to do
i actually have an event today, maybe will bring the Bucs good luck by me not watching them lol
