Bucky had the lowest YPC in the run game and lowest YPC in the pass game. He didn’t play very well either. He sure wishes Duuuuuvall was the HC/OC, because he isn’t seeing the holes you could drive a truck through very often this season. It’s almost like coaching and playcalling matters.

Regardless of what I think of Todd Bowles the HC, I too believe Todd Bowles the human is a good man. I remember his answer about race, during a press conference. I'm ready to be done with Todd Bowles as HC as anyone, and have been for the past 3 years. Is Bowles a below average coach that was recommended by his buddy Bruce Arians ? Yes he is, does that count as DEI just because he's a minority ? No it doesn't. His SB year here as DC and with the exception of the zero blitz to close out in Arians last season, he was was a quality DC that likely gets HC consideration elsewhere. Aside from that Bowles "the human" while stubborn comes across as highly intelligent, and is a quality human being. So maybe keep your red hat close minded views to yourself ? Thanks for your attention to this matter !
My Loss of confidence is not in whether or not he is a good man - it is entirely based on his mediocrity as a HC.
Not much more to say about today's game. If the Bucs make a similar effort next week at home for the division title, one would think that the Bucs coaching staff's fate has been sealed. What a lost season. So much promise at the beginning, but little did we know it was nothing more than a mirage. All those close wins were just a tease. Then the losing streak vs good teams. Then another losing streak vs bad teams. Just SMH
The wins against the Seahawks and Texans were real. The problem is that you have a coaching staff that doesn't push urgency against lesser opponents. Complacency starts to pile up and that is how a losing culture develops.
Arians is the opposite in that he is pedal to the floor and run up the score if need be. Do not give your opponent a chance to come back or keep the game close because that is playing to lose.
