It’s so hard watching Coen’s offense in Jacksonville. They are moving up and down the field on the Bengals. Two TDs on three drives. The other drive was a pick in the end zone after driving all the way down the field. It’s so sweet. He had Lawrence looking like a possible pro bowl quarterback. Easy reads. Hardly ever sees third down. Ugh. Coen is good.
Trevor Lawrence is a mid QB, anywhere from 16 to 20
we realized in year 5 that Jameis wasn’t the answer. I’m not so sure Jacksonville will realize the same about Lawrence for another year or so
@badabingbucs I agree. Lawrence is not the answer. But Coen will get the most out of him. They should have gone 3 of 3 touchdown drives to open the game, but Lawrence threw a horrible interception in the end zone on the second drive.
Their offense clearly looks better. They got hosed on that 4th down Pi against Hunter.
Overall he's doing well with what he has
Hunter is so far the bust of the draft. He’s not built to play both ways. He needs to stick to WR. Even there, he’s 6th or 7th best WR in this draft

Not sure "bust" is the right word, but I partially agree. He was overrated in college (Jeanty should have won the Heisman) and he was overrated as a prospect because of it. Deion is a helluva salesmen, and he sold the hell outta Hunter. Lots of people bought it.
I actually think he may be better as a full-time CB. He does have elite body control (which helps in preventing PI's) and really good ball skills - although he did drop a tipped ball that was right in his breadbasket. The two-way stuff is fluff.

i didn't see the play that caused it but postgame presser had Coen asked about a sideline spat with his QB

I agree that he probably needs to pick a side and stick with it. At least for now. maybe later in his career he can try going both ways. But right now, it's basically going to take him twice as long to learn how to play at this level because he's splitting his time, effort, and focus. And I also agree he should probably pick offense. He's so talented he can be more versatile; play inside and outside, out of the backfield, and/or use him as a gadget guy.
With BT banged up I'd line him up 100% in the slot.
Once BT is fully healthy I'd put him 100% on defense then gadget plays/decoy on offense.
@feelindangerous06 You cant trade all those picks for him and not play him on both sides of the ball right now. He needs to figure it out. He wasn't the top player at WR or CB in the draft.
