The biggest shout out has to be to Bowles and it should come from those who called for his head in 2022 and early 2023. lol
Bowles is far from perfect but he is a true leader and coach that was on full display yesterday in the way a DEPLETED team stepped up AND in the way young guys were COACHED UP to perform.
This team is clearly Bowles team (2022 was not) so its going to rise and fall with him. Bring on the Broncos. Hope we get some of our stars back ASAP
The NFC South is the "weakest" division in football . . . just ask the Cowboys and the Lions!
Biggest shoutout to me goes to the defense.
A unit missing a number of personnel, including the best player on the team (AWJ).
And, you had a number of guys absolutely STEP UP!
My only real disappointment was Coen. Didn't really do anything to even attempt to neutralize Hutchinson.
Oh, and can we end the Mauch experiment already?
agree with all of this
who would we go with as replacement of Mauch? I guess Klein?
Why not give Hainsey a shot? He had struggles as a center, buy maybe he can be more effective at guard?
I liked Mauch when we drafted him, thinking possibly Marpet 2.0, but he has really struggled and doesn't seem to be getting much better.
Definitely think Bowles should get the game ball. He earned his paycheck yesterday the way he coached them up
Campbell with the Bowles love:
"Man, those guys, once again, it’s our third match with them and they go all out over there and once again just play, give you everything they’ve got. It’s unbelievable competition,” Campbell said."
“They do change up their coverage a little bit, which we knew they would,” Campbell explained. “They do a good job, there’s a few things they hang their hat on.
“They played one particular coverage and really pushed out to the flats on some things, and they buzz pretty hard under some routes. And so we just never felt real comfortable.”
Game balls:
Baker
Godwin
Izien
McCollum
Whitehead
Dennis
Ok so how long is it going to take to cut Camarda? I've never seen a more inconsistent punter in my life.
He can legit kick it 75 yards but shanks them half the time.
I'm done. Time to move on

certainly not up there with Aguyao bad but yikes.
deep punter class too that was. Several went in rounds 3-4 that year.

Agree on his punting. I think he's bottom 3rd in everything. But he's not getting cut this season, right? Because he's more than just a punter. He handles the kickoffs and that is increasingly important.
On kickoffs he dropped a couple right at the goal line, which I think is the object this season. The Bucs had at least two kickoffs that resulted in less than touchback starting positions.

were you here for Dan Stryzinski his first go around, or Mark Royals? Talk about infuriating to watch..there is definitely something going on with a Carmada, but he’s got too much talent and still young as punters go..I’m willing to give him some more time to work through it, so long as he’s not directly costing wins. He’s a difference maker that can flip the field when he’s on his game.
@firebowles2023 - I’ve been saying for a year and a 1/2 now.
Camarda was absolute beast mode for a while. He’s very young too. Maybe he’s dealing with an injury??

Punters can get weird. Takes some time. He was good enough once, give him some space to get back in a groove.
I don't see him turning it around.
I thought we had another punter in camp and Camarda almost got cut?
Believe he was cut & then signed elsewhere.
Teams don’t historically find an upgrade at punter at this point of the season.
Godwin, of course, deserves a shout out as he as almost the team's entire first half offense by himself. Having a great start to the season
"Per NextGen Stats*, Godwin has hauled in 93.75 percent of his targets."
*aka "some guy's stats."
