Biggest shoutout to me goes to the defense.
A unit missing a number of personnel, including the best player on the team (AWJ).
And, you had a number of guys absolutely STEP UP!
My only real disappointment was Coen. Didn't really do anything to even attempt to neutralize Hutchinson.
Oh, and can we end the Mauch experiment already?
Not for nothing, but he did try. At one point Coen used a TE and a RB to try and help out Skule. Aiden is just a freak of nature and it didn't work.
I'd give a huge shout out to Baker. His pocket presence and ability to navigate a rapidly collapsing pocket over and over was elite. And what was really impressive from the A-22 was that he wasn't holding the ball too long with guys running open. Given the time the OL gave him, he did as well as could possibly be expected. There just weren't any receivers open on any of those sacks. But Baker's ability to keep the play alive while staying in the pocket as it collapsed around him was really top-tier elite stuff. His only mistake was the INT, but either Godwin or Evans ran a bad route, so that wasn't entirely on Baker.
Biggest shout out would have to go to Bowles and his defense. He really put Goff exactly where he wanted and made him try and beat TB from the pocket, which is exactly what Goff isn't good at. It was a beautiful gameplan and well-executed.
