Thats the plan, and Bucville can’t wait!Schefter reporting Godwin and Wirfs strong chance of playing next week against Eagles
Wonder how bad his injury is and whether he will be ok a snap count.
I'm a little paranoid of playing hurt players after last year
You and me both.
Starting to think Goedeke shouldn't have been active last week.
And, it's now being reported that Egbuka will be on a pitch count.
Tyrod Taylor is a veteran who doesn't throw a lot of INTs. He'll take care of the ball and not make turnovers. In three games with the Jets in the past two years he's completed 24 of 33 with no INTs but only averaging about 5.3 yards per catch. He's had six carries in those three games for a total of 34 yards, so he's scrambling two times a game. He's fumbled once and lost none. He's going to do his job which is to not lose the game.
Buffalo beat them 30-10 but Taylor was only sacked twice, threw no INTs and only threw one TD. Even though the Jets were getting steamrolled this didn't cause Taylor to play desperation football. James Cook rushed for 132 yards and broke a 44 yard TD. So the Bills were able to get ahead 20-0 and run the ball effectively. Obviously the Bills controlled the game start to finish and so should the Bucs.
So the Bucs win if they follow the Bills script and establish the running game, thereby keeping the Jets from teeing off on Mayfield against the O-line of the Bucs. On defense they just play disciplined defense and force punts. Don't give up the big play because somebody was in the wrong place. Taylor is not going to beat you. Your own mistakes will be what beats you.
So the Bucs lose if they think they're going to shock and awe a backup QB by blitzing him into submission and force turnovers throwing INTs. Taylor will not cooperate with this plan. Let the Jets get a long play. Hand them a couple of short fields with turnovers. Let Mayfield get crushed trying to convert a 3rd and 10 with a deep pass. That's how the Jets will win.
If the Jets win it will be 17 to 14 because we beat ourselves. We gave them a couple short fields and missed a game winning or game tying field goal.
Don't worry! The Bucs wouldn't dare put a guy in there if he had a chance to re-injure himself! (ahem.... Goedeke)Wonder how bad his injury is and whether he will be ok a snap count.

Making Tyrod Taylor look like a hall of famer what’s new
Very uncharacteristic drive for LVD.
These mitha f***in refs man
Nice job DEFENSE! The refs are out to help the Jets today, this stop is huge!
Reminds of me Nix and the Broncos just marching it down the field...
Disagree. Sloppy D. Two legit penalties. Missed sack opportunity. Lucky to get out of there with only 3.Nice job DEFENSE! The refs are out to help the Jets today, this stop is huge!
Refs looking to decide it already. Every play a freaking flag
These refs man holy shit
Or perhaps the Bucs are actually committing these penalties. This is getting ridiculous.Refs looking to decide it already. Every play a freaking flag
Everytime they show the foul it's legit. The Bucs are actually committing these penalties.
You'd think we were playing the Chiefs the amount of calls against us, just totally unfair, these refs are so crooked man
