Nelson shoulda known there was backside help shoulda let himm cutback in to the help, cause he's is completely responsible for outside containment

On a pitch? Kinda a big ask to ask a pass rusher to cover a little RB in the open field. He played it as well as I could ask him to.

Britt has to make that play.

100% sure nelson is the backside end left to crash in on the back. He is meant to be on an island with the back as hes not blocked, C/D gap nelson A/b gap britt then fill inhowever the play works out

Dude, it was a pitch. It was literally impossible for Nelson to “crash in” on the RB. You should watch the play again.  There is no way the pass rusher could “contain” the RB from getting outside, as the RB caught the pitch when was already outside of the hash marks.

Bro thats exactly how the play is designed, leave the end unblocked so he can beat the end to the edge, nelson beat him to the edge but got juked. Just watch the replay its the same idea of of a qb read option where he reads the end, the rb is meant to be left on an island with the end

Your argument here is that Denver left him unblocked so he could make the play. That’s incorrect. Denver left him unblocked because they understand that’s damn near impossible for a pass rusher to tackle a small, shifty RB in the open field. Nelson played it pretty damn well. Britt did not.

You can have the last word.
