What a freaking game…fantastic comeback against a killer defense. Much closer than I thought.

We have some things to work on, it looks like we’re getting right, right on time.

Yeah it was ugly in spots but I think this is a big learning lesson for this year's team.

Love the fight in this team

glad to see them make it a game after the terrible first half

yes agree

If Baker didn't make that bonehead INT they could have tied the game.  It would have been one of those games talked about for years.  But he did and it won't be.  As Baker goes, so go the Bucs.

it was a very bad play by baker, but wasn't that ball slightly deflected?

whatever, I am not sure if we really stopped the eagles in the second half or was it tampa weather?

was gold to see wirfs and godwin back. chris is rusty but he will come back. as long as we do not lose more guys our offense will be fine and before the season absolutely everyone would have taken 3-1 start

all things considered, that was a moral victory

we were down 24-3 at one point and made it a 31-25 game.

If not for a Bucky fumble, we likely would have held them to 24 as well as Hurts did not complete a pass in the second half

With this essentially being a preseason game for Godwin and Wirfs, and no Evans or Goedeke, i think we can definitely beat the Eagles if faced in the playoffs and relatively healthy

Love the write up.  That prediction seems timid and uninformed. In what world do we allow 30 points to this style of football team?

Tampa has very little respect for the Eagles or anyone coaching there. Our team is banged up but our defense isn’t.  We should be able to put them away comfortably by the 4th quarter.  Bucs 31 - Eagles 10.

The OP is waiting for your apology.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the secondary is special. Zyon, Morrison, Parrish, Dean, Tykee, and Winfield were making plays all over the place. Its truly refreshing to see corners make plays and understanding situational football. Morrison had some excellent reps on AJ Brown. He definitely has #1 CB potential and we already have imo a #1 in Zyon too who also did well on AJ too. I'm excited about watching that group grow as a unit for years to come.

Just need to replace the backers, and get better depth at the DL and we will have a dominant defense in no time.

Yeah you can see that the defense is a work in progress.  Front seven definitely needs reinforcements in the off season but it is early in the season and a lot can change.  I think Dennis has played better as the season has gone on but we have to see the totality of his work with a full season before passing any judgement.

Morrison had some excellent reps on AJ Brown.

He was glued to dudes when he was in there. Happy to see his recovery has gone well, as he was a top-15 prospect prior to that injury.
