Just have to heal up as the short week was obvious the team wasn't ready to play.  And the injuries just piled up.

509 passing yards to an offense that has looked bad all season…

This loss is more embarrassing than the Denver loss. The offense lost this game. The last possession we had before the OT was pathetic.

Bowles is one of those coaches that either he has the right game plan going in...or he doesn't.

He can't adjust.

Deer in a head lights.

Jamel Dean has 4.3 speed and couldn't run down Hodge too.

Missed opportunity. Plain and simple.

Hyper conservative play calling to make them use TOs

Andy Reid wouldn't have run it 3 times I'll tell you that much

@kermit56 - don’t agree. We’re blown out without this offense. Pass defense was horrible all night.

Without Arians killer instinct to ice the game it was obvious what was going to happen. Arians was often cited for "running up the score" but to win you have to do that.  Especially with the way the defense was playing.

This is why you have be able to read the flow of the game. The defense was not stopping anyone so the offense had to go for TD or pass through the air to burn clock.

Bowles had his opportunities to ice the game.

@firebowles2023 exactly. I’ve always said that.  No Gametime adjustments ever.

maybe it's my imagination... but this has been a major TB flaw that has well preceded HC Bowles.... whenever we try to hold onto a lead n take the foot off the gas late... it almost always backfires lol

we haven't been great at running the ball into a D's teeth for like 5 years.... why on EARTH would we try to run clock in the 4th, when Baker and the WRs were aboslutely COOKING all night?

and that Bucky fumble was PAINFUL... I'm almost sure he ALREADY had the 1st down... why the heck was he worried about holding onto Mike Evan's back (who was blocking like an absolute stud, not a thing most #1 superstar receivers EVER do lol) instead of just securing the ball and going down...? Even a 4th and 1-2 would be WAY better than that terrible turnover (granted, Lavonte got the INT back shortly after, but talk about a momentum drain :/ )

it's also painfully obvious how much we miss Kancey's pass rush generation and Winfield's elite DB play... it causes us to try so many more ineffective blitzes that don't work out and this game particularly, defenders were taking absolutely awful angles or looked dazed while not reacting quickly enough to stop a 7yd play from turning into 20+

But hey, at least we lost to ATL, who I seriously doubt will be a competitor late in the season. I'd much rather lose tonight and absolutely wreck NO next week in a get right win.

and on the POSITIVE SIDE (I know, a foreign concept for most Buc "fans") - Logan Hall is actually looking like he's finally figuring it out over the last 2 games... he's getting pressure AND sacks and not just from luck.

Zion has overall been GREAT in the starting CB role, even the most shutdown elite lockdown CB is never going to fully shutdown a premier WR in the current NFL structure. When we traded Davis to Detroit, I thought it was the dumbest move in the world but it's lookin solid now lol

I’m so fucking pissed off at that because they gave em that game. That should’ve been a facemask & offsetting penalties. That was the game right there. Despite all the injuries & the stupid soft coverage on the money downs we should’ve won that game. It’s bullishit

Stop blaming Bowles.

The OL shit themselves in critical moment, Bucky fumbled, Dean cant cover anybody in off coverage. The players lost this shit

Bowles played a lot of soft zone so I can't put it all on the players.

We manned up too and we got carved up. What is he suppose to do?

When did we man up? You can count it on one hand

All those completions given up on the left side by Dean were not zone calls. ill have to rewatch to confirm but from naked eye..dean in off man coverage was a completion 90% of the time and got bailed out by a drop

Off man. Soft zone... Either way we aren't up on the line jamming them.

I'll never understand it

i can’t wait until we’re able to replace Dean. I thought this would be his signature get beat for a long TD then come down with an injury game. He sucks & can’t ever get a int even if it hits his hands
