Insane.  Baker is about as good a back yard QB as we have seen. It really helps with our 6th and 7th receivers to have someone who can improv like him.

Grizz is a damn genius.  Bowles had us showing up when needed. The Niners, like the Eagles, didn’t do ish in the second half.

On to Detroit.

AND DOING IT AT 5-1 BABY!!

Please tell me Emeka is ok!

BUCS WIN!!!

Hammy like Evans will likely mean 3-4 weeks.

It's my fault I have him in FF... 6 weeks in and I've had 8 players knocked out of games so... You can imagine my record

Game ball goes to Baker and Grizz.

Baker is the leader in the clubhouse for MVP.

Grizz has shown improvement for multiple weeks in a row now.

MULTIPLE injuries (even more so than last year), and the offense carrying this team to an unlikely 5-1 start.

KUDOS BAKER AND GRIZZ!

What the offense has done with the injuries has been incredible. When EE missed the second half, they were down six staters on offense. SIX. The only starters on the field were the QB, TE, LT, LG, and C. Pretty phenomenal. They do not need excuses.

30 points.

THIRTY.

Incredible job by Baker and Grizz.

THIRTY!

incredible is the word!

BIG WIN!!

After today's game.

Offense is ranked #6 in points scored

Defense is ranked #24 in points allowed

Bowles was mostly able to keep CMC in front of him. That & Warner going down were the most damaging blows to the 9-ers.

Hope we get some ponies back for Monday night…

I don't think we're getting any of them back.

And. I'm okay with it.

We are WAY AHEAD of schedule.

I mean, worst case scenario, we come out of the BYE at 5-3 (with the most likely case being 6-2 witha 2-0 divisional record).

Yeah, I’m good with that outcome. It’s just seems like we could take Detroit with a receiver and Bucky… and walking out of there with the number seed would be a nice get, too.

Cant get greedy, agree, we are ahead of where we need to be. Injury bug has chomped us, hard, but they’ll almost all be coming back, soon.

It's so awesome that some of you are so eager to be hypocrites.  Lmao.

in another thread one of you blames the defense for a short field TD because a defense is "allowed" to create turnovers and hold to FGs

today every 49ers drive but one is a turnover or punt or hold to field goal... lmao but the defense was awful

6 sacks, 2 INTs

hahaha.

Yeah.

Injury bug has hit us ridiculously hard this season, especially on offense.

Yet, here they are, ranked 6th in the league in scoring. Baker playing like the league MVP candidate. Grizz getting better every week.

No excuses from that side of the ball.

Like you said, let's celebrate 5-1 and look forward to the calvary that we can see on the horizon!

To be fair, it didn’t feel like we played that well, and 9ers have had the same injury bug bite them as we have had…

When I saw 6 sacks & 2 INT’s (LVD did actually cause a fumble, another theft) in the stats, I had to blink: when did all of that happen?

Why was Vita Vea in for special teams?  That was the wierdest thing I've seen this year was him going in trying to block a punt and not being able to get out of the way.

that could of cost us the game. Also, he sat 2/3 entire series in the second half the. CamE into the game to do that.

if we’re not going to get any horses back on offense, Baker may need to develop a calf injury sometime this week.

Might be time for some Teddy-B in Detroit.

An extra day will ensure some players will return to action for next weeks game, but guys with hammy injuries like EE are better off to sit till post bye.  Anyway you slice it the Bucs defense is forcing turnovers and more importantly INT's.  And finally sealing the deal with sacks.

Bucs defense has to continue to work to clean up issue to avoid huge chunk plays and also ensure the opposing offense do not have easy yards.  Easy yards underneath because of incorrect cushions for off coverage has been the main problem with the pass D the last three years now.  The boundary DBs have to play smarter and a bit tighter since they have help over the top and are not left on an island often this year.

I was just trying to look it up but we are on track for maybe 12-14 INTs versus 7 last year?

The second half defense holds them to 3 points. And that last drive might be the only drive so far where the d-line could 100% tee off on each play as a pass. Pretty dominant second half.
