I couldn’t wait for a rant thread so here we go. Kudos to the Bucs for making it a game til the end. I thought they would get embarrassed & I’m glad I was wrong. One thing I was right about tho was Josh Hayes. He has no business being on the field. Then there’s Todd Bowles who week in & week out shows the world that he is not HC material. Took him 4 weeks to finally sub out KJ Britt. Didn’t have the balls to go for 2 then gave an idiotic explanation for why he didn’t.
But what I’m most pissed about is looking at other teams make trades at the deadline, while our HoF GM sits on his hands. Vita has more sacks than our edge guys combined. Did you see how nice it was when we rushed 4 and got home? Wouldn’t it be cool if we could do that consistently? Zadarius Smith was there for the taking…nope. Our secondary needs a legit outside corner….oh wow Marshon Lattimore just got traded to the fucking Commandoes. Even Dallas is making trades. I’m sick and tired of tired of hearing about draft capital just for Licht to whif on yet another edge guy. What are we competing for this year? I’m sick of seeing Anthony Nelson on the field on 3rd down. We gotta watch other teams get better while we stand pat & wait for our guys to break out. This is just trash, Bowles AND Jason Licht are at fault for this wasted season.
One last thing, Liam Coen is gonna get some interviews this offseason. He alone is worth firing Bowles. What he has done has been nothing short of remarkable.

@donkey_hunter And that’s the most idiotic thing I’ve heard. Licht needs to do what’s best for the team and worry about his job security. Regardless of who’s the coach next year, this team needs LEGIT talent on defense.
On one hand, I feel bad for Bowles because he inherited a team during a re-build post Brady but then on the other hand, he just shows too much incompetency. Doesn't even matter if we are SB contenders, his mentality will bring us down. (We can have an elite defense and top 10 offense) - wont matter That's all I got this week /rant
This “rebuild” team was about a quarter away from the NFC Championship game last season. We’ve had a ton of terrible injuries all season combined with absolute terrible luck. We’re not that far away.
Regardless of who’s the coach next year, this team needs LEGIT talent on defense.
Not sure that is what SR said, but if Licht really thinks Bowles could be gone it would make sense to stand pat because, for example, the new coach (or DC) might go a completely different direction

We also had Hayes, a sixth round college safety, playing outside CB against oen of the bets receivers in the NFL, D Hopkins lmao. Hayes was there to REPLACE Funderbirk who sucked, so, again, there is no one else because the two CBs above them are both out

For who? Do you not know the guys that’s on the roster? Sub bum Britt wit the guys you used last night…JJ Russell & Vi Jones. If they don’t cut it then go find someone via trade. Theres more than one way to acquire talent.
