The week 2 PFF Rankings reveal three storylines for the Buccaneers.

1) Elite offensive players;

- Ryan Fitzpatrick the No.1 rated QB ahead of Patrick Mahomes with an insane 98.8 ranking.

- DeSean Jackson the No.1 rated WR.
- Mike Evans the No.3 rated WR.
- Chris Godwin is the No.11 rated WR.

THREE WR's IN THE TOP 11. But as if that's not enough....
- OJ Howard is the No.1 rated TE.
- Ali Marpet is the No.1 rated guard after facing the Eagles DL. Insanity.

2) A young, rapidly improving secondary;

- Justin Evans jumps from ranked in the bottom half of safeties in week one to No.11.
- Ryan Smith surges from bottom third to No.24 rated CB.
- Chris Conte, who was rated nearly idetical to Evans after last week jumps to the No.28 rated safety after the Eagles game.

3) Last year's Superstars aren't maintaining their elite level of play;
- Gerald McCoy is the 40th rated DT after maintaining an elite rating last year.
- Lavonte David is the 18th tated LB. He also maintained an elite rating last year and he's way off that mark right now.

So, there's the three storylines. An elite offense, none of which would be possible without Fitz playing great, a young improving secondary, and our best players from year's past struggling to maintain their elite level of play through two games.

It's only two games, but these are very encouraging numbers.
