I'm asking the board. Knowing that the home team has a big advantage on Thursday night games due to the short week plus the travel, knowing that the Buccaneers have beaten the Falcons three straight times including a big win in Atlanta to open the season and knowing well how these teams dislike each other, shouldn't the Buccaneers win? And knowing how the Falcons are coming off a big win as the Bucs are coming off a loss best forgotten, isn't there a chance the Falcons might overlook the Bucs? That the Bucs might just be angry enough to play above their heads to make up for their pathetic effort last Sunday?
One would hope. It's the ONLY way to get the foul taste of multiple losses out of our mouths, the ONLY way for the Buccaneers to start feeling good about themselves again and might be the ONLY way to get the Jameis we saw on the podium last season back. A young man who called out those who seemingly accepted defeat and leader who felt his team was getting better, not worse.
So really, it's not on the fans in the lower levels who sell out to visitors as HC Koetter suggested last week, it's on our Buccaneers, the players themselves to make plays.
Does it happen or is this season another in a long line of lost causes? What do our esteemed posters think?
