Dirk is the one I feel the worst for.
He never wanted Jameis as his QB. He openly preferred Mariota.
He did what he could with Jameis, I would say that if not for Koetter, Jameis would be a consensus bust by now.
Is it really fair for him to lose his job if we have a poor season due to underwhelming QB play?
I want us to hold onto Jameis, then trade him right when his suspension is up. If Dirk can get at least 7-8 wins with a guy like Fitz, he should stay and get the chance to build a new QB, one that he hand picks, maybe Jake Fromm out of Georgia? If we trade Jameis we could easily have 2 first round picks to move up and get him. Who out there is going to be a better HC for a new rookie QB?
