Against my better judgment, here are the facts of the Winston case as we've seen them reported.

Many posters keep posting (intentionally or not) complete bullshit that ignores what we've been told so far.

More may emerge that updates or contradicts this. But this is the best we have right now as of June 23.

1) On March 13, 2016 at about 2 a.m. Winston was accused by an Uber driver of grabbing her crotch while alone in the car with her (as well as shouting a homophobic slur). The woman did not go to the police but immediately filed a complaint with Uber. Uber suspended his account. The women later went public with her story of what happened. As of right now she has not filed a criminal or civil claim against Jameis, although this is the 3rd incident in which Jameis is accused of sexual assault.

2) Winston immediately denied the account.

"The story falsely accuses me of making inappropriate contact with this driver. I believe the driver was confused as to the number of passengers in the car and who was sitting next to her."

Ronald Darby, who also provided an affidavit supporting Winston against Kinsman, backed Winston by stating:

"There were three of us in the car, not just one as has been reported. Myself and Jameis were in the backseat. I am confident that nothing inappropriate in nature happened in the car that evening and Jameis did not have any physical contact with the Uber driver. The accusations are just not true."

Per Bucs beat writers (like PR), Jameis was clear to them that he was never alone in the Uber with the woman.

Neither Winston nor Darby will identify the 3rd passenger who was purportedly in the front seat.

3) Adam Schefter breaks that Winston will be suspended for 3 games. It is reported that it is NOT for "failure to report". It is also reported that Winston has plead down from 6 games to 3 which will also carry stipulations he has to meet.

That being said, he has not been officially suspended so this number (and information) could change.

4) It is now known that Winston took two trips, one with Darby and a mysterious 3rd passenger and one trip alone later in the evening. Both trips were with women drivers.

It has been reported that the NFL has electronic information (likely from Uber and/or Winston's phone) that contradicts Winston and Darby's account and shows 2 trips.

Thus both Winston and Darby lied about the Uber trip.

5) It then emerges that the 3rd passenger was Brandon Banks who at the time was charged with rape and is currently convicted and serving 15 years. He apparently was a friend of Darby's and acquaintances of Winston's.

The NFL reached out to, but never spoke with, Banks. He did not provide any evidence in the NFL's investigation.

6) Banks attorney Mark Scruggs then states that per Banks Winston was unruly and was placed alone in the Uber by his friends. Per Banks this was the 2nd Uber ride.

7) To date, no evidence has emerged proving Winston grabbed the driver's crotch. Nor has any evidence emerged contradicting anything of her account. All we know for sure is that Winston will be suspended, that there were two trips and that Winston and Darby lied.

If I've missed anything or mis-stated any facts, let me know and I'll change it. So far, this is what we know.
