The real problem is Josh Freeman and phase one NFL Drug program.Schiano had to insert Glennon, which he didn't want to do (strong discussion with Dominik on Mon nite)You can't expect a great season with your starting QB in a drug program and a rookie QB forced into service.Schiano has held the team together in the face of 0-8 and this is enough for a 3rd year for him.Everytime we change head coaches, the next year is a tough year with the exception of Grueden. I'm for continuity.I'm all for a 3rd year of Schiano

Change for changes sake hasn't yielded much improvement.Many on this board are adept at tearing down structures. But what is needed is the ability to take a problem and build into something better.Real CEO leadership
I'd keep Schiano for another year, also I'd finally reopen the official Bucs forum and make sure the mods know they're allowed to ban posters like Java and MiltonMack.

I don't think they can keep the franchise if things don't turn around soon. I mean how many years can you have awful attendance and merchandise sales before you just have to sell? They can't be making money on this franchise.....can they?

Constant loss and the Glazers' just might move the franchise.The point is would the Bucs be better with a new coach and a new staff, and if so who might those persons be.We have tried change in the past and except for Gruden it wasn't so good (but Gruden shows it could be good).So if you are an owner, do you risk change or do you keep someone who insists on dedication to football and at least seems to have the support of his players.It is a question you can debate, but when your money is on the line, it might be more prudent to take what you have---a total football committment by the coach and the co-operation of the players and hope they all get better as a unit.
