In case you more intelligent ones haven't guessed yet I will spell it out. What is the common denominator to all the historic collapses by this team over the last 3 coaching changes? We change the coaches and ...still the team has games where they just dont care. They play with no sense of urgency. No heart. They get blown out so badly I have to question ....why? I do not see any other teams getting blasted off the field so badly records are being broken for ineptitude 4 - 5 times a year! That is unbelievable! To begin my investigation~start with these give up mentality games as being defensive in nature. The defense is the side that just quits. WHO IS THE LEADER OF THE DEFENSE. I mean it is all great to be a nice human being. This is an important personality trait. Helping the other team up off the ground is very courteous ~ but also quenches the fire within. It calms the will to dominate. There is a time and a place for everything. If you want to lead the choir - do it at church. Nobody is asking Gerald McCoy to break a commandment by playing passionately and with a will to be indomitable. Christians can fight. Jesus disciples were fighters - for the right reasons mind you. Paul even wrote about competing in the games at the Roman Colosseum. When you train - you train like a champion, you punch not as if someone punching the wind. You fight like a man possessed with an indomitable willpower to overcome all obstacles and lead your team to victory. Not to be a bully and not to suffer as a wrong doer, but as a christian who is competing in the games and TRAINING TO WIN.Gerald McCoy was playing hurt this year so I know his effectiveness was less than his normal. But his attitude for gentleness and compassion toward the other team is not appropriate for a team that is playing to win. Those are appropriate traits when you visit the hospital and help out needy children.Gerald get your head straightened out because YOU are the problem. You have not been a good leader of this defense. You have not rallied the ranks and inspired toughness and physical play. Under your watch the team has GIVEN UP more than a dozen times. And YOU would never see Ray Rice's, Ronnie Lott's, Lawrence Taylor's. etc. defenses give up - any day, no matter what the score is. You play this game to win - just as everything you in life you do it to your full power as for the Lord whether you are sweeping the floor or preaching from the pulpit. Everything you do you do it to your full power as for the Lord. This is speaking to your Christian faith...as I am one also. There IS nothing wrong with winning, playing tough physical (not cheap) hard nosed football for 60 minutes. There is nothing unkind about not helping your opponent off the ground. Obtain the correct attitude for victory and lead like a champion!
