2. Defensively- Absolutely MUST somehow, some way find a pass rush either by trade or draft (FA not happening)
3. Offensively- Absolutely MUST somehow, some way find a way to better protect Winston.
4. Defense- Find a new DC...
While this past draft looked good on paper and we acquired some nice players in OJ, Godwin and Beckwith we did NOTHING to really improve our team. We didn't draft ANYTHING to address the pass rush and put ALL our eggs in a 2nd year player coming of shoulder surgery. We didn't address CB AT ALL. Beckwith can play SLB... whooptie freaking dooo- the new base defense in the NFL is nickel- he can't play... The front office drafted OJ who cannot supplant Brate, Evans who is playing but not doing anything special, Godwin who Humphries plays over and Beckwith who we didn't even need... The front office BLEW it...
