I wonder what Mike Evans will do for this team both on the field and off with how he handles the business side and what his future holds.
I mean either restructure or extend
he should retire a Buc. Unless he’s looking for $30 million shouldn’t be an issue

I agree, my curiosity lays in how his performance will be especially with him not taking over games (outside of the AWESOME Carolina game) last season.
hopefully we get more Carolina type performances from Evans.
If the Bucs have a legit running threat and a healthy Godwin things should open up for Evans
it’s a legit question though because he’s getting older (by nfl player standard) and he’s a long strider. His speed will fall off some over time so does he adapt?
he’s a great player so hope he stays up near the top and with us
The Evans slander on this board is so fucking stupid.
Dude is still elite #1 wr who will produce even with Baker or Trask throwing to him.
Guaranteed 1000 yards
Guaranteed 6+ tds
Guaranteed 70+ receptions
Comes fairly cheap for a wr1
Opens things up for Godwin
Deep ball threat
Buc for life
Gtfo

Things will/should open up for Evans because he’ll have an OC who actually puts his skills players in great situations schematically.
I for one love that we abandoned the fade it the red zone for screen passed to Fournette and TEs

where’s the slander you’re referencing?
A lot of tenacity there bud…
Extend him but I don't think he's going to do it. He already makes $14.5M in cash this season and will be UFA at 30 this time next year. In line for a big pay with the QB of his choice.

IMO, I think he would.
I think he wants to finish out his career here. Especially, with LVD looking like he’s going down that road.
Love Mike Evans, he's a man among boys in the redzone but I don't know that we can call him elite like the top receivers in the league:

He ranked in the middle of the pact overall last season. His overall body of work is tremendous however and I want him to retire a Buc. We do need to find a receiver that can completely take over a game, i had my hopes Godwin would be that guy until his knee injury last year.

What do you think the Bucs record is going to be next year and on an A-F scale how well do you think Mayfield/Trask are going to be able to get him the ball?
Evans was able to get 1,000 yards with the likes of mike Glennon, Jamies Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick and a diseased Tom Brady; I think he has a shot with baker mayfield
Evans has also signed multiple contracts with the team pre Tom Brady and he has a ring
if anything, I think he will want to stay in Tampa for legacy purposes
After getting a taste of winning/playoff football and if this season doesn't go well again w/Bowles at the helm, I could see Evans going elsewhere when he becomes a free agent.

I think we’re somewhere in the neighborhood of a 4-5 win team as a floor and a 6-7 win team as a ceiling.
I think Canales will have a fairly QB-friendly system that will schematically give Evans and Co. open opportunities in space. So, that being said, I think we’ll see C- to B- play from the QB position.
Let’s be honest, we’ve seen Mike put up numbers with dogshit at QB and bigger dogshit at OC.
Again, it’s just my opinion that he’ll be a lifer here. He’s already ROH. He’s going to Canton. He has a ring.
But, if he feels he won’t, and needs a 2nd ring (or simply desires another shot at it), I don’t fault him for leaving for a contender.
I just have a feeling LVD finishing out his career here may sway him. That’s all.
