When is enough money, enough money?

Of Course Joe Flacco Played The Mega-Millions Lottery  December 20, 2013 4:07 pm    Say what you want about Joe Flacco, but the Ravens’ Super Bowl-winning quarterback is no dummy. He would probably much rather collect lottery winnings than get body-slammed by defensive linemen for the next five years. That may be why Flacco bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket in Owings Mills, Md. last Friday when the jackpot reached $425 million. Flacco even let the other dude in this picture go ahead of him in line and everything. He’s a pretty nice guy. You’ll recall that no one won the Mega Millions prize, and the value soared to $648 million on Tuesday. Lottery officials said two winning tickets matched all the numbers drawn. People might want to criticize Flacco, who is in the first year of a six-year, $120.6 million contract, for playing the lottery when he has kind of already won it. Whatever.
