I keep hearing about Mack being a good pick for us at 7... but then all the analysts project him to be a 3-4 OLB....Given that we have Lavonte David, where does that leave room for Mack? Most teams place an emphasis on a 3rd corner now instead of a 3rd LB. Could mack be the MLB? If not, I dont see how we pick him with most of the league running 3 wides about 40% + of the time
he could play opposite Lavonte David, and move to put his hand in the dirt on obvious passing downs
Mack can play DE in the 4-3. If your worried about him not supporting the run well move him to LDE then on obvious pass rushing situations slide him to RDE. He won't make it past #6 though with ATL having a dire need at DE too.
Mack looks the part of a LB. I dont think he is big enough to be a 4-3 end. Just my opinion.
Ideally he'd be a RDE like Rice was. The problem is Clayborn is there and Clayborn should, ideally, be a LDE based on his skill set. The problem is that, allegedly, his palsy keeps him from playing LDE.
I'd guess Mack would be an RDE...Barr has the better size for it though...

I don't know. Dimitroff might be tired of watching of Matt Ryan get his ass kicked. Their OT's suck.
