TAMPA, Fla. -- In our NFL Nation survey, one of the questions we asked was which player in the league is respected the most. Denver quarterback Peyton Manning was the winner. No argument on Manning. But let’s have a little fun with this and narrow the question to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I’m seeing plenty of good candidates and I’m basing things on what guys do on and off the field. Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, linebacker Lavonte David and cornerback Darrelle Revis are arguably among the league’s best at their positions. You could also make a case for wide receiver Vincent Jackson. All four also are solid locker-room guys. I don’t see a clear-cut winner here. I see at least four guys that are in the conversation. That might be better than having just one candidate.

Cowherd did a big thing on this the other day. Brady is actually one of the most hated QB's in the league according to his poll data. And the reason is, according to Cowherd, he is too perfect, so we all hate him. We all want to be him, but we cant, so we hate him.Typical psycho-babble from Cowherd, I think he has lived there in Patriot country a little too long. He needs to return to Wash state.
Respect is taken. Brady, along with the rings, has massive respect from any team they face.Seems more like a popularity contest, and less about actual respect. They may not like him, but they have no choice but to respect him.
I will say Mike Glennon. He stood tall in front of an offensive line full of holes. He has my respect.

If he stood tall IN FRONT of our online it would explain a lot about why we sucked on offense so much last year.

That's not psycho-babble at all. I've heard that is a big reason for why many players dislike the Patriots and Brady. They're so good and they don't sink to another team's level of trash talking or anything like that. Teams want to be like them. I mean, they are playing in their eighth Conference Championship in the last thirteen years today.
Obviously Revis has been the premium player for the longer amount of time, so he'd probably get the most respect from around the league. McCoy's rep is rising even among the casual fans, with two Pro Bowls and All Pro selection. David is a player people in the league know how good he is, but fans of other franchises don't know how good he is. He'll need another year of premium play to get in their heads.
Brady is master, but hes still a whiny little punk b****.I live 20 minutes from Foxboro and its maddening!
Revis.Most QB's stayed away from him last season, and he was not even 100%. That's respect.
