Light hearted thread because both VH3 and Grimes are BALLING right now. It's like having Kelly and Barber or even that brief stretch with Talib and Ronde playing at a high level. So nice having two guys who can punish teams.
But for some friendly, healthy debate, which corner do you think is the #1 right now? I lean Hargreaves. I know that Grimes has the better numbers, but that seems to be a product of teams targeting him more and avoiding Vernon at all costs.
There's also the tackling. Vernon has been taking on backs and tight ends (he drilled Kuhn yesterday) quite often and sticking them. Grimes is by no means a bad tackler, but there appears to be a gap.
I think it's really close, but over the last handful of games, I have to think that VH3 has become the team's best corner.
