I'm sure there have been years where all the rookies make the team, but usually there is one or more rookies that end up not living up to the hype and being cut at the end of the pre-season. Last year it was Bond going on injury reserve and Dick Vitale being cut. In 2015, Joey Isoefa, Kaelin Clay were cut and Bell went on injury reserve to be cut in 2016.
So who's this year's candidate? Barring injury or criminal activity, Howard, Evans and Godwin seem like locks for this year. So what about the others? Beckwith and McNichols are dealing with off season injuries both of which they say will be ready for training camp. what about Stevie T? Seventh rounders don't stick very often.
My guess, Beckwith starts on PUP, goes to injured reserve. I think McNichols shows enough to make the team (especially with Martin out for the first 3 games), Stevie T flashes, but is cut at the last cut and we hope he gets to the practice squad. Aquayo becomes the 2016 pick that gets cut this year.
I hope I'm wrong on Beckwith, Stevie T and even Aquayo.
