And straight lambasting the owners... I am actually FINALLY applauding the owners. The media is all over them right now about how they aren't giving coaches time to develope... But what I see is an ownership that feels the pain of its fan base... And an ownership who actually saw the product on the field the last two years, looked at loviies history and what he was doing with us and realized it just wasn't going to get any better. On top of that, the players reactions are shocking as well... They are all so pissed off by it, but if you think about it... You ask yourself, ok, do they really think he's such a good coach? Yes? Ok. Then why do we still suck? The answer leads them right back to themselves. Look ... I'll say it as plainly as this, if you watched this team the last two years and didn't look at the improved record.. If you watched the personnel choices, the gameday management, the penalties, the awful defense, the lack of ANY adjustment EVER during a game. ... If you watched these things then you know flat out- this tram was going to be a 3-6 win team every year that lovie smith was here There were coaches around the league doing far more with far less... First time head coaches too...
