So without getting a full season, injuries to a few key offensive players, and with this joke of a coaching staff; it seems that the majority of the posters here are already calling for a change at QB. So, who would you like to see (realistically) at the helm next season?
phillip rivers, jay cutler, or bridgewater.
Mike Glennon.Rivers and Cutler ain't going anywhere and we won't be able to draft Teddy. So it's Glennon.
Johnny Football
Manziel or Hundley
Manziel or Hundley
He said next year not 2015.
Sorry, but what exactly has Rivers accomplished? And Cutler will be looking for big bucks. No way we get Bridgewater. And I'll most definitely pass on Manziel if it costs us our 1st rounder.

trick question?

Good point
Blake Bortles (if he declares)
Manziel. But if we can't get him for one reason or another, I'd say mccarron or rivers. It's a shame mariota is staying. He would've also been a good acquisition.
Glennon. Freeman threw 10 touchdowns and 18 interceptions as a rookie yet Glennon throws 17 touchdowns and 8 interception, freeman threw all of 2 40+ passes his rookie season, Glennon has 6. I don't get why everyone is ready to give up on Glennon. Glennon has shown me enough to give him another season. The guy has no run game, Penn is a revolving door a LT, and he has 1 option in VJax to throw to, maybe 2 if you count Tim Wright. Our team isn't that talented on the offensive side of the ball right now. Our number 2 receiver is a guy who's best season was 425 yards and has played for 3 different teams in 5 years. Bucs fans are funny, we will give a guy 5 years and claim him as a 'franchise QB' in freeman yet the guy who replaces him and goes on to break all the 'franchise QB's' records we can't give 16 games.
I still think Boyd is going to be good in the NFL, but he will need some time to get there.
Realistically, Manziel could be an option. I wouldn't rule out Cutler for a year or two at a discounted price. If he takes one. There really isn't anyone other than Manziel I would want under center next year. Seeing as Bridge is out of the question and may not even declare this year.
I'm telling you guys, manziel and this offense would be very good structured around an experienced nfl playcaller. We could still draft a high round de or te too if we drafted him. Trading penn or dj would give us ammo to move up as well.
