Manziel, Cutler, or Glennon. Probably in that order.
waiting to know if Bortles & Mariota declares1) one more year for Glennon2) A) trade up for Bortles or Mariota B) sign Shaun Hill (one year deal) 3) A) sign Shaun Hill (one year deal) B) 3rd day pick (Fales, Matthews, Garoppolo, Boyd or Gilbert)... trade down for more picks in 2015 (Winston, Bortles, Mariota, Smith, Mannion, Hundley, Petty, Wallace...)
Manziel or Hundley
Hundley? You think Hundley is a better QB than Glennon? Good lord. Re-watch that Oregon game and tell me if you still think that.
Glennon. Freeman threw 10 touchdowns and 18 interceptions as a rookie yet Glennon throws 17 touchdowns and 8 interception, freeman threw all of 2 40+ passes his rookie season, Glennon has 6. I don't get why everyone is ready to give up on Glennon. Glennon has shown me enough to give him another season. The guy has no run game, Penn is a revolving door a LT, and he has 1 option in VJax to throw to, maybe 2 if you count Tim Wright. Our team isn't that talented on the offensive side of the ball right now. Our number 2 receiver is a guy who's best season was 425 yards and has played for 3 different teams in 5 years. Bucs fans are funny, we will give a guy 5 years and claim him as a 'franchise QB' in freeman yet the guy who replaces him and goes on to break all the 'franchise QB's' records we can't give 16 games.
Because fans are extremely unrealistic.
Glennon , with Jake Locker brought in to push him .
Draft Carr or Bortles.
Blake Bortles or just suck it up and role with Glennoff. My interest in Manziel has faded and there really isn't any other QB I'm interested in drafting this year. Maybe Jeff Matthews late in the draft, but only as a project.

Dude you are all over the place with the QB thing.
Glennon at Qb. Schiano as HC.
Someone who actually has time to throw.

I actually rather like this plan. Gives you some risk reward on both guys. Locker is a guy I am going to be very curious to see the market on him.

I watch DRV'd games every day bro and my opinions change and evolve. I'm not the type to put things in stone and then ignore new information and refuse to change my opinion. And I am not all over the place. I like Mariota, Manziel, and Bortles. Mariota went back to school, I cooled off on Manziel, and I watched more Bortles and decided he was even better than I thought. I've never been very high on any of the other QBs in this draft. Carr is probably better than I originally thought, but I'm not convinced he is a top 10 pick. Bridgewater has some really good things going on, but I'm not sure he is worth a high 1st either. At this point, I would take Bortles wherever I have to. Even 1st overall. I think he has that much potential. Manziel....maybe a late 1st or 2nd. He's high risk and I think the odds are he is a bust, but there is that possibility that he continues to be awesome, so I might take that risk at some point if the situation is right.
I don't like Manziel's game and to a large extent I do not want a scrambling QB. I want a traditional pocket passer with pocket mobility. I do like Bortles but I question his touch and ability to throw over the middle. Watching a highlight tape, which shows what he's good at, you see a lot of deep routes throw down the field and I wonder how good he is at working his progressions and throwing timing routes across the middle. That's the biggest reason I like Teddy so much, you see him actually turning his head and working progression during a play.Teddy won't be there when we pick but I wouldn't scream if we picked Bortles with the 2nd round pick. We need another McCoy type d-lineman and a quick/shifty slot, which can be found in the mid rounds. Here is an example of why I don't want a scrambler.... http://www.ballsdeepsportsblog.com/?p=2252 Here is a play broken down of a 31 yard TD by Russell Wilson. On the play Arizona blitz Wilson who fails to see the blitz and get rid of the ball on time. Instead he runs out of the pocket, because he can, and with poor contain by rookie Tyrann Matheiu is allowed to get to the edge where he throws the TD to a wide open WR. Great play right? Not in my eyes. What should have happened is that Wilson doesn't see the blitz and when he tries to leave the pocket is contained by Mathieu for a sack or a much more difficult throw. In contrast what would a good pocket passer do? Well Tom Brady would have identified the blitz and thrown the ball quickly to one of the three wide open receivers behind the blitz. My point is that this play extending crap that everyone is so in love with is BS. At some point all these QBs are made to stand in the pocket and pass. That is what happened to Kaep and why he's been down this year, he had a good game against us because we couldn't keep him in the pocket. To a lesser extent with Wilson but not allowing these guys to extend plays makes it much more difficult on them. If Wilson had been kept in the pocket by the blitz, which is the design, he would have been hit from the backside. You want to crown him a franchise QB? Go right ahead but his stats are far beyond what his actual quarterback ability is, he's a playmaker and that doesn't work long term. Maybe he'll adapt fully but running around can be stopped. Please look at the link before you flame me.
Think at this point we have to roll with Glennon (unless the team wants to spend the $$ they were allocating for Freeman's new deal on Jay Cutler - who will be available if Chicago doesn't make the playoffs).Next year's QB class is shaping up to be a loaded one with most of the 2014 QBs now saying they may go back to school. Roll with Glennon for another year - if he improves, then great we have our answer. If he falls on his face then we are likely going to be in position to get a top guy (Mariota, Jameis, Hundley, - heck maybe even Bridgewater if he decides to return as he's not a lock for this year at all).
Josh McCown? (half serious)Not Cutler.Mike Glennon. No one worth a crap is declaring in 2014 IMO.
