I read that two of Brady’s requirements were input on player personal as well on play calling/game plan.
They also paraphrased on NFL Network the a convo between Brady and Arians went something like this (in terms of play calling).
Brady: I want to run my system
Arians: Would you rather have 1 great football mind learn a system or 52 lesser football minds learn a new system
Brady: Word, we will meet in the middle
With all that said do we believe 40 year old Leftwich still calling the plays for the 43 year old GOAT. Or does Arians insert himself back in that role.
I feel it has to be Arians. I’ve seen Brady blow up on Josh McDaniels and I would think he would chew Leftwich up and spit him out.
Thoughts? I think Arians reinserts himself and Leftwich absorbs as much as he can from Arians and the GOAT, to better serve him in the long run
