hard understand the notion Lovie won't highlight strength of Revis, dude is a beast and eliminates half the field like Deon
I think Barron and Johnthan Banks are two obvious candidates.
Agree, but if they bring in Tillman like some are in favor of, that throws a wrench in Banks development. IMO
Funny, I believe Revis will THRIVE w/ Lovie as head coach. Lovie is no dummy defensively. I think Lovie and Frasier can scheme a defense to whete Revis showcases his strengths and opens up a world of possibilities for everyone else on D. I'm excited to see a variation of Lovie's D w/ a shutdown corner. Its exciting to me. Side note...Lavonte is gonna be the best LB in the league w/ Lovie. Sweet!!
To me Lavonte IS already the best Linebacker in the NFL!
No to Josh McCown! I'm tired of the Bucs starting QB being backups at best. If you being in a vet how about a proven Starter. This team needs a franchise guy!

Not in a division where we play the Falcons and Saints, who spread the field with no less than 3 receivers almost every down.

Casey Weldon.
Before I even clicked on the article, I was thinking Adrian Clayborn. Not only will he be getting betting coaching/teaching and doing what he does best instead of floating around like a linebacker.....but he will likely get a stud LDE added to the line which opens up more opportunities for him to gets sacks and force fumbles. Way I see it, if we get Allen or Tuck or anyone of the stud DEs in FA and stick them over at LDE next to McCoy, the RT and TE will be blocking that new LDE, the RG and C will be doubling McCoy. So our Nt will get a lot of one on ones with the LG and Clayborn will be left one on one with the LT.
Clayborn had 6 sacks doing most of his damage as a stand up rusher and from long looping stunts...excited to see him and Gholston go upfield with McCoy.
Who gains the most..McCoy, revis, or banks.Who gets the bad...the o line and probably glennon.I would say David would benefit, but he'll be good in just about any system anyway.

That's cute, somebody thinks it's still 1994 not 2014.NO corner eliminates half a field like Deon did back in the day because that's impossible in todays NFL.
Lovie will want Revis to go for the pick more often. It wouldn't surprise me if he hit a career high in INTs.
God, is it STILL 2994?

Good catch, fat finger syndrome. What's the betting we're still looking for our first true franchise QB that year?

I was thinking the same two names. Barron took a few steps in the right direction this year and at least showed signs that he can be decent in coverage. With Frazier, Lovie, and whoever they get as the DB coach, I have to believe that we will see Barron play like a complete stud.I don't think we will see too much more from Clayborn that what we have seen. He will be the same high motor DE and his hustle will be good enough to merit 8 or so sacks, but I don't see him cracking the coveted double digit mark. That said, sacks aren't everything, and he should be a value piece as our #2 DE.
