Cowher, but I think he's done coaching.Realistically, I just don't really see anyone out there who makes me super excited. I wouldn't hate a Lovie or Holmgren hire and I could understand a guy like Shanahan or Billick getting the job. Zimmer maybe? I just don't see anyone out there who is a super strong candidate.

Vince Lombardi's exhumed body could make better personnel decisions than Gruden, so I'll go with Vince.

Which is why I'll settle for a college coach with a lot of realistic accomplishments and a ton of experience b4e.

Marty Schottenheimer

+1Marty is a living legend. Marty would bring a great defense and could get some great assistant coaches. The best of the best. He would still have to be my first choice. Give him a 4 year deal. It's a 4 year plan guaranteed to fill up the stadium and win lots of games. In the meantime find a GM who will be in charge of finding his replacement after the 4 years are done. Set him up to become president of the club or vp at the end of the 4 years or if they both agree keep coaching. Marty would bring instant credibility and long term stability to this franchise.

I was on board with Marty the last time we were looking and I know it's just 2 years later but a lot has changed in that time.Marty would be the perfect person to give the team president role, looking over the GM and the HC while the Glazers go watch soccer.
