I mean, I know he's really, really good and I know he would fill a position of great need, but since when is a draft about one particular player. If he falls to us then that would be great. But if he doesn't so be it. Next year's draft is going to be loaded at DE. I say if we miss out on Chubb we should just focus on our other positions of need. This year's draft is jam packed with CBs, RBs, Safeties, and Guards, 4 positions of need. After Chubb, trying to find a DE is like trying to find a needle in haystack. And it's not like we're one year and one player away. I say ignore pass rush this year and nail down 4 positions.
1st rd - Derwin James - S - we'll be set at safety for the next ten years
2nd rd - Isaiah Oliver - CB - we'll still need one CB after Grimes retires, but we're no longer desperate here
3rd rd - Kerryon Johnson - RB - with Johnson, Barber and another back in the 6th we're set
4th rd - Sean Welsh - G - we are set at guard
5th rd - Brian Allen - C - we are set at center
6th rd - Deadrin Senat - DT - nice depth at DT
6th rd - Martez Carter - RB - we are set at RB
7th rd - Darius Philips - CB - great return man
Next year we take 2 DEs and 2 DTS.
