The 49ers haven't been great this season. Kap has been average at best and the entire offense has struggled. They are coming off a very hard fought and physical division game vs the Seahawks. Thier defense is good as always, but our defense has been playing really well lately too and is completely healthy. I think this should be a fairly evenly matched game. Unfortunately, I thought the same thing about the Panthers game...and we know how that went.

The biggest problem with this match up is the quality of competition each team has faced and how they've done. San Francisco has played a lot of good defenses and come out ok. They just beat Seattle 19-17,
they got hammered in Seattle. Last 6 games we have been pretty competitive even at tough teams like Seattle and Carolina
It was only 10 days ago the Bucs scored 6 points against Carolina. They've played one good game against a good defense and it was Jekyl/Hyde between the first and second halves.
Oh, it's obvious the offense is a weak spot, but the defense is what is going to keep them in the game and give them a shot. They were a shoe string tackle away from putting up 7 more on the Panthers and a few inches from stopping Cam at the goal line. Game was closer than the score indicated

I think it will be a rough game. I'm not confident about this game. Not with the way our offense is playing. Defense is gonna have to steal this one.
I got so much faith in out defense that I know we'll give them hell but our offense against their defense is that worries me.With a healthy Mike Will, Doug, and Mike James, I would be sure we would win this one.
