If Mariota/Winston are close on the Bucs board why in the world did the Bucs tank the final home game? Lovie talked at length down the stretch about finishing strong and building toward next season. We were on the verge of getting our first home win and first division win that Lovie talked all season about being significant to lay that foundation moving forward. The length that Lovie and the coaching staff went to tank the 2nd half of the Saints game was an absolute embarrassment to the fan base and the players who fought all season. If we won that game we would've picked no worse than 2nd in the draft and if they liked both players there was no point to throw an NFL game the way Lovie did.In my opinion the Bucs have someone on their board that is ranked MUCH, MUCH higher than anyone else. The question is which player that might be. Jason Licht went on the radio the Monday after the game and stated that they have done a ton of background checks on all potential draftees and doesn't take much stock in the underwear olympics. He also mentioned specifically attending a lot of Florida State games/practices. He went on to state he's not looking for choir boys. I found this very interesting.In my opinion Winston is the pick baring some new off the field incident.
