Pick between DET, MIN, or WAS? Give me WAS every time. We need some players back on defense for sure. Will be tough, but every game from this point on will be tough. Let's GO BUCS! Four straight NFCS Division Championships!
Yes, but the downside is:
3 seed goes to Philly next Round
The ONLY way Bucs get an additional HOME GAME is if Green Bay beats Philly next week.
They play right before our game, so we will know if another home game is possible by kickoff!
Go Bucs! Entertaining win today!!

Thank God we're really good at Prime Time games.
Maybe the NFL wants to get the Bucs out of the playoffs quickly?

well that would work but also once we beat Philly, we could host if the rams/5th seed upset 1 seed in second round
so 3rd seed is nothing but awesome. Us sucking in prime time or playing the commanders is on us. We are favored in the game and we should win this. However seeing how we played today, it’ll definitely be a dog fight. Here’s hoping the defense plays like it does in second half’s lately

My first reaction as well... It's like they know
Watching Darnold so far and he's missing a lot and when he's hitting it's just barely.
I believe it's because of the pressure. Wish Bucs could get that kind of pressure on QB's.

He doesn't have the escape ability of Baker
Yeah, I expect this team to come out flat unfortunately. Then we come alive second half and win the game.
Really don’t think they came out flat, the offense sat for a long time in the opening 20 minutes & couldn’t sustain drives. So my guess is that a lot of it is actually determined by the opening coin flip. If Bucs receive the ball, and we score in the opening drive, it plays into the attack schemes on both sides of the ball. Quick scores jack up the offense, offensive scheme can be aggressive with the run, gives us long scoring drives, which also keeps the opposing defense on the field, longer.
It also keeps our defense off the field, and when we have a lead, defense can be more aggressive up front. This especially helps against younger QB’s as they’re not as experienced with how/where Bowles brings the pressure.
It would be interesting to see how many times that played out over the last 6 games. I’d look, but I don’t have the time today to flesh that out.

Darnold is one of the slower QBs delivering the pass, 2.6 seconds to Mayfield 2.2, but also more air yards than Mayfield (or Goff ). So, some of it is the style of the offense. It was discussed during the game. Mostly trailing and not converting 3rd downs also put the Lions in to tee off mode with the Vikings
Mayfield has the best of all world because he is mostly throwing short fast passes and in an offense that is often just as likely to run the ball, so its not as often that the opposition is just flat out rushing
The Bucs defense has plenty of reasons for not getting the kind of pressure we saw from Detroit last night BUT one of them is that you beat the Bucs by throwing quick, short passes.
The o-line/gap-scheme sent the run game with Bucky on another level, as well as the development of JMac (taking pressure off of Mike), and well…Mike, have been the key to the explosiveness of the offense.Watching Darnold so far and he's missing a lot and when he's hitting it's just barely.

But yeah, a running QB with a cannon can upset this applecart pretty quickly.
Cant wait to watch!
With the trade during the season, this game will feature Mike Evans vs. Marshon Lattimore.

If the Bucs get the ball first, they should do okay as long as they don't throw the ball to Sterling Shepherd.
If they get the ball first and score TD’s on long scoring drives with 4 to 5 yard run plays, mixing in short/quick passes for the same…even better.Really don’t think they came out flat, the offense sat for a long time in the opening 20 minutes & couldn’t sustain drives. I expect Bowles plays the run heavy in the first half, saving the aggressive defensive line for the second half. I don’t think Bowles “can’t figure it out” in the first half, he just knows he doesn’t have the horses to play aggressive in the first half. He seems to want to keep it close in the first half, get a lead in the 2nd half, then release the hounds in the 2nd.

100% agree
He was sort of our WR1 in the 49ers game? Maybe one of the other games.
