It's time we acknowledge that he got paid and he's play abysmal this year.
Highest paid safety in the league cannot whiff tackles in the clutch and constantly be out of position.
I'm very disappointed in him... I hope he shakes it off and/or is largely due to the scheme BUT
I'm wondering if the big contract made him idk... Fat and happy
and he's play abysmal this year.
Agreed
the only thing that gives me some pause (not a lot) is that he’s playing with everyone in front of him getting beaten
that’s a no win situation for a safety
I mentioned this last week. I do feel a lot of is scheme, but also, he doesn’t have the range of some top safeties. He’s a smart hard nosed player. And… he’s the top paid Defensive Back in the NFL, not just safeties.

Could be some scheme but he's whiffing on big moments.
That long catch to Hopkins where he tried to pick it off at the lowest point. That was fucking awful.
He's not just bad... He's bad in big moments.
He's gotta live up to his contract.
No doubt he's been pretty bad. I would hope its just rust after missing a lot of time.
Honestly though, not too worried about him in the long run. He doesn't strike me as a guy who gets paid and stops working. I'm more worried about the scheme and guys running wide open all run forcing him to have to make open field tackles with guys running full speed.

agree that this play stands out as bad
