CLIFFORD |Times]TAMPA — Much has been made of Bucs rookie QB Jameis Winston throwing five interceptions in the first two days of full-pads practice, but CB Alterraun Verner said he likes the aggressive nature of the young passer."He's a rookie, so he'll make mistakes here and there, but he's not making them because he's timid," Verner said after he got a sideline interception in Tuesday's practice. "He's going after it, he's gunslinging, he's trying to make things happen. That's the best way to learn. If you're just timid, timid, timid, then when the pressure gets on, you're not going to know how to respond."Verner said other quarterbacks might back off a notch after an interception, but he has found Winston to be good about wiping the slate clean and approaching the next pass with the same confidence."One thing I know about him, the pressure's never going to get too big," Verner said. "He can throw an interception, and next time, he's going to probably take me up top. That's the type of player he is, and it's what I've seen already in him."ROSTER MOVE: The Bucs, who were one of only eight NFL teams carrying more than one long-snapper on the roster, on Wednesday waived undrafted rookie Courtland Clavette. Clavette was signed to compete with returning starter Andrew DePaola, though the team had a few position players taking long snaps in practice Tuesday to search for an emergency backup.THIS AND THAT: Former UCF WR Josh Reese, who signed with the Bucs as an undrafted rookie but was waived after rookie minicamp, signed Wednesday with the Eagles. … With WR Louis Murphy out with an ankle injury, three undrafted rookie receivers — Donteea Dye, Adam Humphries and UCF's Rannell Hall — continue to make a splash while getting extra reps. "Each guy brings a different dynamic," receivers coach Andrew Hayes-Stoker said. "Dye has extreme speed and burst, and Humphries has been really crafty, has made really good decisions. Every one of them has done something different to make me say they deserve to be in the building."
