Just watching some games from last year. Evans is always open on deep routes. If you have him run deep every play and just throw it up, he's going to make the play 95% of the time. Anyone recall him MISSING one of those plays? Didn't think so. Problem last year, and the reason he didn't eclipse 2k receiving was QB play and a little on the O line. McCown was afraid to mess up, always looking for the quick and easy. And in his defense, the line didn't always hold up long enough. But in any case, McCown is the past and Winston is the present. Winston has the opposite mentality as a QB. He looks for the big play, always. Though he's smart enough to take what the defense gives him. Even Glennon last year was hesitant to pull the trigger (understandable as he didn't want to screw up and risk being benched again). After taking Winston, we have to go O Line early and often. I'm talking 2nd round tackle (or trade up in the end of the 1st), and interior guys in round 3 and either 4/5. If Jameis gets just 5 seconds to drop back, set up and release, he and Evans are going to break records that may stand for decades. I don't think anyone realizes just how good Evans can be with a QB like Winston. Defense be damned this year, it's time to load up on offense again and win games Packer style. 1- QB Jameis Winston1- OT Ereck Flowers * give up our 2nd, Glennon, and our 2016 2nd to Ari for their 1st and QB Drew Stanton3- G Tre Jackson4- ILB Ben Heeney5- G Shaq Mason5- WR Jamison Crowder6- C/G Max Garcia7- DE Zack Wagenmann
