Ok seen lots of hate of Winston over the past 4 years. I had some time so I broke down exactly how he stacks up against two of the best QB's to ever play the game. I think we really need to understand we have something here in Winston that is immensely valuable. Fortunately I think the Glazers and Licht (as well as potential HC candidates) all know this, its obvious. I'll keep it short and sweet here is how the numbers play out:

Jameis Winston
56 Games
61.6% Completion Percentage
14,600 Yards
88 TD's
53 INT's
87.8 Rating

Tom Brady
63 Games
62% Completion Percentage
13,900
97 TD's
52 INT's
87.7

Peyton Manning
64 Games
61% Completion Percentage
16,418 Yards
111 TD's
81 INT's
85.2 Rating

Take aways:
* Winston has played 7 less games than Tom Brady and 8 fewer than Peyton Manning

* Winston averages 40 more yards/game than Brady and 4 more yards/game than Manning

* Winston averages .03 more TD/game than Brady and averages .16 less TD/game than Manning.

* Winston averages .05 more INTs/game than Brady and .31 less INT's/game than Manning

This actually surprised me because of the heat that the man takes. He tracking very well (better in some key areas) in comparison to some of the greatest QB's in league history all while being on team that has a loser mentality, no defense, no running game or OL.

We can, we will and we are building around him and we need to. We have the young weapons in Evans, Godwin, Humphries and Howard but we need to solidify this defense and manufacture a run game.
