In 1962 George Blanda, playing for the Houston Oilers of the old AFL threw 42 Interceptions on 418 attempts and had 2 fumbles. Yet amazingly the Houston Oilers went 11-3-0 for the regular season. They lost to the Dallas Texans (now the Kansas City Chiefs) in the AFL Championship game when Blanda threw 5 interceptions.
