Just saw on Ch13 news, Wirfs and TB Bucs have agreed on a 5yr 140m contract. No mention of guarantee amount.
As I stated before, recent contracts have been guaranteeing about 75%. From the early report, Wirfs will have about 61% of the contract guaranteed (88/140). I read where Wirfs would possiblybe wanting a shorter contract such as three years where the team would want a longer contract. Well it went five. So those are both wins for the Bucs. Of course Wirfs gets a record contract, so I would say he should be more than happy with how it worked out. But from what was reported I think it's fair to say Licht did it again.
