They'll pay him. Also would be dumb for him to get hurt during one of those practices.

I hope he doesn't hold out for long. I feel trying to put pressure on the management by holding out makes you look like you don't trust you'll get your paycheck when you know you're one of the top leagues Left Tackle and that you think the Office doesn't know that. Agents that have to have their players holdout are a bane to the existence of football. I'll never forget Drew Rosenhaus over Eric Rhett.

He's not holding out. He's just not at OTA's. If he doesn't report to training camp then you can call it a holdout.

Agree completely OBD.  Errict was one of my favorite players in college so when he came in and instantly provided a spark for the offense I was thrilled. His holdout was terribly timed leading to the nickname "Dr. Rhett".  Wirfs situation actually kinda reminded me initially of Paul Gruber's holdout back in the day.  Thankfully we have far superior ownership and management team compared to 1993, that wont cheap out on a deserving player.

Wise business move for Tristan. It may set him back in getting up to speed of the new system, but if they’re going to recognize him as the best LT - then I’m not sure why we’re waiting - but I trust Greenie. My bet is it won’t last long.

Rumors were they were pretty close then Penei Sewell got that monster contract as a RT and that blew it all up. He should sit out. Also, I have now problems if he skips all the way to training camp. OTAs is underwear football. He's working out every day at OBP. I am not worried at all that his joining the team at training camp and sitting out until them. To all who said he will get paid. What if he has a Jensen accident? They will franchise him the next year. What if he has to retire? He has excellent reasons to sit out until training camp
