I read an article where NFL insider Benjamin Allbright of KOA Colorado is saying Dolphins' WR Waddle can be had for a 3rd round pick. Last year he signed an $85 million contract for 3 years. He's averaged 70 receptions and 1,000 yds the last 3 years. Not bad for a 3rd round pick. However, I'm not a capologist, nor did I sleep at a Holiday Inn last night, so i don't know what to say about the cap hit should the Bucs make the trade.

Food for thought.

No thanks.

Lets be real Waddle is a great weapon but where does he fit with the Bucs roster? And wouldn't a third round pick secure a better edge rusher to help out the team and give Diaby and Reddick a breather?

No, i think only trade we should consider would be either defensive line or edge

from a hopefully getting healthy perspective, we should see all our WRs come back, along with Bucky and Geodeke

We have some solid depth in secondary but with injury to Klancy and rather mediocrity of Diaby/Reddick, that's more of a need in my opinion.

Miami may be sellers with edge guys like Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips available

same with the Titans with guys like Arden Key or Dre'Mont Jones

Not sure if the Bengals consider Trey Hendrickson.  They are kind of in the divisional race for the AFC North after last night.

Always see Max Crosby name thrown around but as a key cornerstone in his prime, imagine, they will ask for a kings ransome

it's very likely we dont make any moves at the deadline but given we are likely to be at worst 6-2 entering the deadline/bye week, is would make sense for us to try and bolster a piece that could be the difference between early playoff exit and a SB run.

Well with CG's fibula, EE's hamstring, and ME's forever strained hamstring, I think He would fit in quite nicely, to be honest with you.

I think the only way that (adding a WR) would play out is if one of our receivers is further behind than expected.

I agree that it would seem an edge is the right call, and Hendrickson would be my pick for reasons I’ve already laid out, but I think our real need is ILB. I know that Hendrickson’s production isn’t helping Cincy’s defense much - could he help ours? Sure seems like it.

If Licht makes a move for either of those options, I’d be ecstatic, just not sure he will want to part with another draft capital that will derail his plans to add a LB in the upcoming deep draft for the LB position. They may also “see” SVD is making progress (it could be the same way they thought JTS was improving?), but Jet LB Quincy Williams would seem be a pretty good fit. One factor to that not happening is that Bowles requires a lot from his LB’s. Quincy Williams may or may not be a candidate for that role, or maybe they don’t think they could get him up to speed. He looks like a good fit to me - but what do I know.

Hendrickson, or Williams for me - pass on a receiver unless one of ours won’t make it back to the field this season.
