Would an Air Raid offense work in the NFL?

After reading the Fab 5 that suggested Mike leach as a new HC, I checked him out a little and I'm very intrigued. First off, he has what I think is a very good indicator of a very good coach, a strong coaching tree. Don't know much else about him and I'm certainly going to watch the WS game tonight. And that brings me to the offense he runs, the Air Raid offense. I've read how concepts of his Air Raid offense have already been incorporated into NFL offenses but others claim it would be a spectacular failure in the NFL. Would love to hear thoughts on Mike Leach and the Air Raid offense in general.
