This is one of the deepest RB drafts in recent memory. There are as many as 35 RBs with a draftable grade. Bucs can save $3.2M by trading White to Jacksonville. Replace him with a 6th or 7th round pick who would go in the 4th or 5th round in other years.
Nah, I like what White brings to the game.
Agreed. White has a role on this team. Great receiving back and a good blocker. A RB blocking ability might be one of the most undervalued skills in the NFL. There was a reason he was in on almost every third down.
i think it's actually $17M in 2025.
You're right.
Not the crippling number you suggested.
Neither is next year.
Neither is the year after.

So you ignore all the facts.
2026 cap hit of $24M. 2027 cap hit is $35M.
those aint bad numbers for a top 10 QB. He might not even be in the top 20. brutal contract...but suppose you are in your debatable Dan mode.
I think that these are just rumors. It's apparent that Coen took the job with offensive pieces in mind. I can see them trying to upgrade at RB but, the real problem in Jacksonville is, they don't have any OL worth a darn. Like it's a complete jailbreak. I suspect that becomes their keen focus this off-season.
So you ignore all the facts.
No, I'm pointing out the false narrative you're pushing.
There is nothing about his contract that is "crippling".
We move on...
