First Take asks if Tim Tebow could lead this year's Broncos to the Super Bowl Matt Yoder SI.com 27 January 2014. Tim Tebow last played for the Denver Broncos three seasons ago. But in fairness to First Take, "Could Craig Morton lead this Broncos team to the Super Bowl" isn't as interesting of a topic. And believe it or not, this is the second consecutive year First Take has asked whether Tim Tebow could magically lead a team to the big game even though he wasn't playing for said team.
So, could he?
Sure why not. A RB/TE playing QB is the way to go! Not to mention the guy is so good no one wants him on their team. It would be an unfair advantage so all 32 teams have agreed not to sign him.
Why is Tebow still a topic ?? Why is no one asking if the Seahawks would still be in the Superbowl if Jon Kitna were still there QB ??
It's a cash cow. I like first take but the only time i've actually watched it was when they were discussing Tebow. I'm sure it gives them a nice ratings jump. Plus, at this point in the superbowl calender, it's slow so why not talk about tebow.
BTW my answer is hell no.
With Tebow, it wouldnt be the same team anyway. Seriously doubt they go get Welker and "accidentally" let Elvis leave the building if Timmy is at the helm. But just to answer the question...HELL NAW. He would have had to go through New England...and we saw the tragic end to that story a couple of times. BB knew how to contain the gimmick.

It had nothing to do with Bill and everything to do with God not wanting Tebow to win.

I wish he would have intervened a little more in those FSU/UF games then.
They have a good enough team for even tebow to win with them. So with a massive improvement like manning, of course they're where they should be on schedule. But no. I doubt very much even their all around solid group could carry tebow to super bowl. It's tough to win superbowl contention with hardly any air yards.
Fucking First Take sucks.
**CENSORED**ing First Take sucks.
Skip Bayless is proof that God looks out for re-tards and f**k ups.
Bahahahahahaha what a joke
No, the Broncos would be where the Patriots are now.
Not this year. They'd be suffering the "hangover" from last year's win...
