Trent Cole, Brandon Graham, Vinny Curry don't seem to fit or are making to much money(Cole) would you be willing to give up a 4Th for either of the 3? Which one an why? I'd take Curry good athlete, signed cheap for 2 more years playing OLB and should be playing DE and Eagles were supposedly taking calls for him in OCT.The Eagles are reportedly fielding trade calls on DE Vinny Curry.Teams are reaching out to the Eagles because they've seen how DC Billy Davis has underutilized the 2012 second-round pick. In just 102 snaps this year, Curry has two sacks and nine quarterback hurries. The Eagles would be wise to get him on the field more, not trade him away. Both players are dropping weight in an effort to be more mobile. If Graham and/or Cole can show pass-rush ability, we don't see why they can't be short-or long-term solutions in Philadelphia. It's worth noting that aging Cole has no guaranteed money beyond this season. Tue, May 14, 2013 07:03:00 PMSource: Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5756/brandon-graham The Philadelphia Inquirer believes OLB Trent Cole may have to restructure his contract to return in 2014.The 31-year-old is due a $5 million salary and carries a $6.6 million cap hit. If outright released, the Eagles would swallow $4.8 million in dead money. We wouldn't write Cole off. He started all 16 games, recorded eight sacks, and was nails as a run defender -- grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 2 3-4 run-stopping outside linebacker. He transitioned well from 4-3 end. The Eagles could choose to keep Cole around for another season before his salary soars to $10 million in 2015. Cole - no, Graham - yes
Yea I'd give up a 4th for Curry
Couldn't we just spend the 4th on a pick in the draft who is younger, cheaper and just as good?
I heard Graham wants out as well however would you rather pick-up a Jared Allen in FA or trade a pick for one of the Eagles DE's? I think JA makes sense and it gives the 2 DE's that were drafted last season a chance to grow with real coaching...

Jared is a FA not given he'd come here. Probably looking for the best chance to win now and get paid! I know we have Frazier and players love Lovie but de we honestly offer the best chance to win right now?

I agree, there's the chance he just wants one last shot at a championship but who knows...maybe he thinks he'll still be relevant when Bucs are ready for a run which is likely 2015 if things go as expected...

Any team that is a real contender more than likely has $20 million tied up on its QB and a DE younger and better than Jared Allen. That's why the team is a contender. You can't be too picky when you're on the wrong side of 30.
