Why have we not shown any interest? I know we don't have money but we can make it work if we need to. Signing him before the draft would let us draft BPA instead of drafting for needs.

I believe they were anticipating Cam Gill having a big year. I know I was.
@badabingbucs Licht should care about putting together a competetive team for 2023. His only winning seasons were with 43 and 44 year old Tom Brady. He has to prove that he can do it without him. I like what he has done so far this offseason with what he has, but when there are young productive players still available we must try to get them signed. When they are young we can sign them on multi year deals and Ngakoue would be worth a back loaded contract.

I believe that may be the reason he is still available.
Can’t see the Bucs signing him. I think the reason he isn’t signed is because he is a huge liability in the run game. Last couple years his pass rush numbers haven’t warranted the price tag.
At this point the Bucs need to further develop what they have on the roster by giving snaps to the younger players. JTS(24), Gill(25), Diaby(23), Ramirez(23) and Nelson(26) are the future. Shaq(30) can hold the fort as the vet leader of the group.
