I don't know how you can watch Bridgewater play, watch Bortles play, and walk away thinking that Bortles is better. I'd like Bortles at 7, but not if Bridgewater is still on the board. But he most likely won't be. Houston and Oakland might pass on a QB, but no way do both Cleveland and Jacksonville. There would be riots in the streets in both cities.
something about Bridgewater just doesn't sit well with me.
He is a bit on the skinny side, and after doing a ton of interviews at the Combine, some have come to the conclusion, he is not exactly Albert Einstein. If he was sitting there when the Bucs pick at #7, it would be very interesting to see who they go with at that pick.

Teddy may have played better than Bortles up to now. But its Bortles upside that is intriguing. IMO

you have to make up things about Bridgewater and then its easy

his upside? to do what? run around better?
I want to roll with Glennon for another year. Last year was a circus, with a terrible line, and he did rather well as a rookie. Get a real LDE in FA, upgrade our OL, and draft BPA. If we do go after a QB, I believe it'll be TB.

No. Bortles has an inch or 2 on Teddy, and about 50 pounds too. And some think he could grow into something special down the road.

I'm pretty sure some think Teddy could grow into something special as well.

I hear ya, but I believe their thinking is, Bortles has the higher ceiling.

uhhh, link please...because I've never seen anyone question his intelligence

Glennon has 2 inches on Bortles. Is that the deciding factor now ?

Teddy Bridgewater did not impress during the interview portion of the NFL Combine, which is perhaps one of the most surprising rumors people are hearing around the NFL, given his reputation for extremely smart play and experience in a “pro-style” offense. Comparisons are floating around to Geno Smith (who also struggled in the interviews), which makes sense because a number of insiders are blaming Bridgewater’s agent for poor preparation. Bridgewater chose the highest bidder when it came to his agent.

Not at all. Its just part of the overall assessment. Say Bortles and Teddy grade out exactly the same. Are you going to take the guy that is a bit taller and 50 pounds heavier ?Teddy packed on a bunch of weight for the combine. And some think he still looked skinny.

so 2 inches = more potential?
